Should the Pulpit Preach on Politics?
Politics is downstream of Culture.
Culture is downstream of religion (or belief)
Christians are to shape culture as part of dominion.
Correction and Criticism on both parties, just different.
Truth is truth.
Preaching the truth of the Word of God into the Culture must have within it an engagement factor.
A dispensational view of sudden change blocks the hard work of incremental kingdom building.
People hide their core beliefs because the danger of them being exposed to scrutiny is very dangerous to their worldview.
Start with the more basic. What is True and False? What is Right and Wrong?
What is Good and Evil?
Must make a cultural connection in the sermon.
Governance is the key.
